Just in time for the holidays, come out to the Cranberry Seniors Centre on Thursday December 3rd at 7:00 pm and learn how to make delicious pastry every time!
Participants will learn how to make three types of pastry – shortcrust, rough puff and choux, for eclairs and profiteroles – and it’s easier than you think! Bakers will learn how to use different flours and fats and everyone will go home with holiday treats to enjoy.
“If your pastry sometimes comes out hard, tough, burnt or soggy, or if you just want to know how to make better pastry, this is the workshop for you,” said Kevin Wilson of the Urban Homesteading School of Powell River which is hosting the event.
This is a hands-on workshop and the cost is $25 per participant. You can register now by contacting fiddlers farm.com.
