Ukulele music makes everyone happy and there’s a growing number of ukulele players in town, says Ukulele teacher Juhli Jobi. “In an effort to keep the music happening we need an excuse to get together and play,” she said. “It’s recommended that you know at least 3-4 chords and feel comfortable strumming to a beat. We’ll learn songs together and when we’re ready we can share our music with a broader audience.”
The Ukulele Club will start Monday, February 1st, 2016, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. As we build our repertoire we may extend it to two hours. We’ll be set up in the studio (off the alley beside Rockit Music on Alberni Street), behind Rockit Music. Check out the Ukulele Club on FB.
