Queen of Burnaby Returns

imageAs of Wednesday January 27th, BC Ferries’ beleaguered but hopefully mended Queen of Burnaby will resume the Comox to Powell River route. The North Island Princess will return to the Powell River – Texada Island route and the MV Island Sky will go back to plying the Saltery Bay – Earls Cove run.

The Queen of Burnaby caused all the ferry shuffling earlier this month as it was temporarily removed from service on the Comox to Powell River route to repair a propeller hub.

For the past three weeks the MV Island Sky has been operating on a modified schedule, providing service between Comox, Texada Island and Powell River, while the North Island Princess operated on the Saltery Bay-Earls Cove route, also on a modified schedule.
