Acupuncture for Charity

It’s time to adjust your body clock to the rhythm of the longer days with the help of Powell River Healthworks’ acupuncturist Edward Sanderson.

Acupuncture has been practiced for thousands of years in China with the earliest historical mention in writings that are more than 3,000 years old. Acupuncture relaxes muscles, improves blood flow, reduces pain and increases naturally occurring pain relievers in the body, according to Edward.

PR Healthworks is holding another free acupuncture session on February 6th and this once a month event is the perfect prescription for both the individual and the community, Sanderson said.

“We invite you to drop in on Saturday, February 6th, between 9:00 and 11:00 am and 1:00 to 5:00 pm for a free tune-up. Come for a free treatment and leave a donation for a local charity.”

The Acupuncture for Charity is held on the first Saturday of each month at PR Healthworks at 4898 Manson Avenue. For more information, contact edward@prhealthworks.ca or 604-485-0108.
