Walk down memory lane

Some say Heishcholt Lake on Texada Island is one of Powell River region’s best-kept secrets. An abandoned quarry turned swimming hole, this is a popular place to hang out with friends, enjoy the sunshine and stay cool in the blue-green waters that are fed by an underground spring.

    Heishcholt not Hachelt is the correct spelling of this lake on Texada Island.
