Bill Bourne returns to Cranberry Hall


Pat Buckna is pleased to be bringing Juno award winner Bill Bourne back to Powell River to Cranberry Hall on Saturday, May 7th, starting at 7:30 pm. Bill has received International acclaim for his recordings and is a captivating and thrilling live performer. Bill’s music is steeped in blues, world beat, Cajun, Celtic, folk, Latin, funk, poetry and more.

Bill was raised in a musical family in rural Alberta. His parents played dance music at country dances and Bill travelled with them from the age of two.

Bill’s professional career began in 1975. He’s toured with the Tannahill Weavers from Scotland, as a duo with Alan MacLeod, with Shannon Johnson, Hans Stamer & Andreas Schuld, as a member of Tri-Continental, Bop Ensemble and with Eivor Palsdottir.

Bill’s last appearance at Cranberry Hall was a near sell-out, tickets for this upcoming event are expected to go fast. Tickets are now on sale at River City Coffee, $20 advance, $25 at the door. For more information, or
