New Bus Service for Powell River


Now you can hop on a bus, relax and enjoy the scenery all the way to the Lower Mainland as Sunshine Coast Connector Ltd. has announced starting May 19th, 2016, dependable bus service between Powell River and Vancouver will be launched.

Route #1 Powell River – Vancouver – Powell River bus will be running once a day, five days a week, on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Route #2 Earls Cove – Sechelt – Langdale – Sechelt – Earls Cove bus will be running 2-3 times a day, seven days a week.

“Sunshine Coast Connector Ltd. will  offer convenient and reliable service with multiple enroute pick ups and drop offs between Powell River and Vancouver and back, including BC Ferry connections,” a company spokesperson said.”Our goal is to establish a dependable bus service to meet the needs of the public. The company will reassess its service after five months and look at what’s working and what isn’t.”

    85$ one way? I though the whole point was to not take the car but it is the same price.
